We curate the stories.
We source and secure the rights to the most compelling true stories — ones Hollywood has ignored for too long — and present them as premium projects-in-development.
You select the stories you believe in.
As a capital ambassador, you choose which stories you’d like to champion, participating in the creative development process that brings them closer to production.
We develop them through StoryQuest.
Through our proprietary emerging writers program, StoryQuest, each selected story is crafted into a scripted film or series — one of the most vital steps toward production readiness.
StoryQuest: Verily’s Emerging Writers Program
StoryQuest is Verily’s flagship emerging writers initiative, designed to discover, nurture and champion the next generation of storytellers. Through partnerships with universities, writing collectives and independent programs, StoryQuest provides talented, unrepresented writers with the rare opportunity to contribute to professional, high-impact projects based on true stories.
The program creates a bridge between raw talent and real-world opportunity via Verily’s mission to tell authentic stories — and to amplify diverse and underrepresented voices — while cultivating a vibrant community of emerging writers poised to shape the future of entertainment.

Jim Thorpe’s story deserves to be told — and you can help tell it.
Developed in collaboration with the Thorpe family, THORPE is a sweeping dramatic series chronicling the astonishing life of America’s greatest athlete. From Oklahoma prairies to Olympic glory — and the racism and betrayal he overcame — his story is too good to go untold.
By becoming a capital ambassador for THORPE, you’ll help guide the development of this long-overdue series through StoryQuest — shaping the scripts that bring his story to life.
